Haunted Hunt Halloween Treasure Hunt

The Haunted Hunt is a clue-based treasure hunt that will turn your Halloween party into a howling success! The Haunted Hunt is designed to be used at a private Halloween Party for friends and family, or even as a Halloween-themed team building activity. Your guests are sure to have a spooktacular time!

Haunted Hunt Premise

Participants are given a “hunt book” with a series of clues. Some clues can be solved with the treasure hunt book alone, but many require the guests to explore the party area to discover additional clues in order to figure out the solutions. At midnight, or another designated time set by the host, guests meet to receive a final clue and the winner of the Halloween treasure hunt will be revealed.

The hunt is:

• Twelve clues/puzzles plus one final clue (six utilize props).
• Blank templates with coordinating graphic design that can be used for invitations, food labels, place cards, name tags, etc.

*Your downloaded materials contain a professionally designed clue book, additional handouts for some clues, and a complete set of directions. However, this hunt requires you to prepare some “clue stations” ahead of time with specific items or props. Some items will need to be purchased, but all can be found relatively inexpensively anywhere that sells Halloween decorations / supplies. Please note that the hunt materials feature a lot of graphics. You may want to print the copies at your local office supply store or local printing company rather than on your home computer. You will go through a lot of ink printing multiple copies of the hunt on a home printer.

Length of the Haunted Hunt

The length of the Haunted Hunt can be set by you. You will want to schedule approximately 1 -2 hours for guests to solve all of the clues in the clue book and enjoy the rest of the party. The final clue and reveal of the winner / winning team should take approximately 10 minutes.

Preparing for Your Hunt

Give yourself plenty of time to plan your hunt. Although we have tried to make this an easy process for you, the very nature of planning a custom hunt in your specific location will take some preparation. Read through your Directions document as soon as possible. This will explain anything that you need to purchase or prepare prior to your hunt. Most hunts will require you to plan out where you want to hide your clues. Some hunts, such as the Pirate Hunt, Teen Treasure Hunt, Haunted Hunt and the Make it Your Own Customizable Hunt require you to purchase/gather items and set up clue stations. These hunts could take up to 4 hours to plan depending on your location and experience in this type of activity.

How the Haunted Hunt is Delivered

If you choose the download, in the order confirmation page and confirmation email there will be a link where you can click to download your purchased product. Otherwise, you can revisit www.mastersofthehunt.com and click on the "Login" link at the top of the site - then go to "My Account." When you log on, the hunt can be retrieved from "My Downloads."

Please note, downloads are available from the moment your order is complete and remain available within 30 days of placing your order. The download comes with multiple PDF documents and one Microsoft Word document. Most computers come with a free Adobe Acrobat Reader, but if yours does not, you can download it for free at www.adobe.com under Products & Services.

Alternatively, you can choose to have the hunt mailed to you on CD. Please note this requires you to send us a list of your personalized clue locations and incurs an additional $10 processing, shipping, and handling fee.
