Letterboxing Example

Using GPS units and some cryptic clues, guests search for secreted letterboxes to find clues that lead them to the next letterbox. For instance, guests may be given a coordinate and told that X marks the spot – the clue is buried on a nearby beach under a beach towel with the letter X on it.

The ”Go to” cards can be customized to direct people to any location that works for you. For example, it can say “Go to: the picnic table in the backyard” or, you can simply write in a GPS location such as “N 26° 06.675 W 080° 06.362”. Participants would then use their GPS units to find the next clue station.
