Are you ready to go on safari? This safari is a scavenger kids hunt that is a true adventure! This kids hunt is ideal for birthday parties, play groups, school groups and can be easily held for small or large groups alike. Clues incorporate fun graphics and activities for the children to complete before they find their next clue location.
Safari Kids Hunt Premise
Children are gathered together to hear a newsflash that a purple ele-rhino-saurous is on the loose near the party area. They are encouraged to look for this elusive animal, but first, they make their own binoculars to help them on their safari hunt. Children proceed from location to location, where they find clues and pictures of different wild animals but not the purple ele-rhino-saurous. After the final clue, the children are directed to one last location where they find a fun note from the ele-rhino-saurous and treat bags.
Sample Clue
Each kids hunt clue also has a suggestion on an activity you can do with the children before heading to the next location. For example, at this clue station, you could play the barrel of monkeys game or sing Ten Little Monkeys. You could also make this a snack station and give each of the hunt participants a banana.

What makes this kids hunt – ideal for children aged 3-6?
The kids hunt clues are:
- Fun to read and hear – Each clue incorporates a little rhyme and animals that children are familiar with. Children will enjoy yelling out the name of the animal once they see the graphic on the clue card and making animal sounds along the way.
- Eye-Catching – The safari hunt materials are professionally designed with colorful graphics that children will find appealing. - Customized – You have control over how the hunt is delivered to the children. The clue locations are customized by you so you can write in where kids need to go to find their next clue. For instance, you can have them go to the mailbox if you are at home. Or, look behind a statue if you are in a park. So, you can host this hunt virtually anywhere as well as outside or indoors. The hunt is also designed so if you don’t like a clue you can skip it.

*Most of what you need for this kids hunt is supplied in the downloadable materials. However, there is an optional craft activity that requires construction paper and a few other art supplies.
Length of Hunt
Our hunts are designed to be very flexible in the amount of time it takes to run the hunt. You can customize this hunt based on where and how well you hide the clues. This hunt also includes a craft activity idea and activity suggestions for each clue location. Incorporating these activities will lengthen the hunt. You can also shorten the hunt by eliminating some of the clues and activities. Typical hunts last between 30 minutes to one hour.
Preparing for Your Hunt
Give yourself plenty of time to plan your hunt. Although we have tried to make this an easy process for you, the very nature of planning a custom hunt in your specific location will take some preparation. Read through your Directions document as soon as possible. This will explain anything that you need to purchase or prepare prior to your hunt. Most hunts will require you to plan out where you want to hide your clues. Some hunts, such as the Pirate Hunt, Teen Treasure Hunt, Haunted Hunt and the Make it Your Own Customizable Hunt require you to purchase/gather items and set up clue stations. These hunts could take up to 4 hours to plan depending on your location and experience in this type of activity.
How the Safari Kids Hunt is Delivered
If you choose the download, in the order confirmation page and confirmation email there will be a link where you can click to download your purchased product. Otherwise, you can revisit www.mastersofthehunt.com and click on the “Login” link at the top of the site – then go to “My Account.” When you log on, the hunt can be retrieved from “My Downloads.”
